These Terms are a working policy for Turing. They are not a substitute for independent legal advice. A qualified EU/Portugal lawyer should review them before a public commercial launch.

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Turing (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Turing.
2. The Service
Turing is a scientific assistant that helps with mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering. It generates explanations, computations, plots, and documents. The Service focuses on scientific and technical topics and may decline unrelated requests.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes; attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems; resell or share access beyond your account; use it to generate content that is illegal or violates others’ rights; or circumvent usage limits, credits, or security.
5. Credits, plans, and payments
The Service uses credits and optional subscription plans (Free, Starter, Pro) plus one-off credit top-ups. Prices, credit amounts, and limits are shown in the app and may change with notice. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and retain access until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example Stripe; Apple or Google on mobile). Taxes (VAT) may apply.
6. Refunds & consumer rights
EU consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal. Where the digital service begins immediately with your consent, that right may be limited as permitted by law. If a charge was taken in error, contact hello@turingfx.com. App-store purchases follow the store’s refund rules.
7. AI output — accuracy & your responsibility
Turing’s answers are generated by AI and may be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional, engineering, medical, legal, or financial advice. You must independently verify any result before relying on it. You are solely responsible for decisions made using the output.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its brand, and software are owned by Turing. Subject to these Terms, you may use outputs you generate for your lawful purposes. You retain rights to the content you input, and grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind (including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability), to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss arising from reliance on outputs. Total liability is capped at the amounts you paid in the prior three months, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified, and you may be asked to re-accept before continuing.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable EU law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Courts of Portugal have jurisdiction, subject to those protections.
